The Attributes section defines the VCM attributes required for the project that are not part of the CAD or Isometric data. Typically, this applies to attributes brought in via Engineering List import. In most cases, the Tags Class Group is the only one used for required project attributes for the VCM.

To add a new attribute, scroll to the bottom of the right-hand pane and click in the Click here to add new attribute field.

Be careful not to overpopulate your VCM with attributes as "decoration." Unless the attribute is required for work packaging, or some form of data visualization or reporting, it is recommended that you do not add unnecessary attribute decoration. This can bloat the VCM size and negatively affect performance.
